’53-’56 FORD TRUCK  Power Brake Pedal Assembly

Mounting the Ford truck power brake assembly requires some re-drilling of the stock rivet holes.

  • First, remove the original brake and pedal assembly.
  • Drill out the two rivet holes in the top of the frame and one in the side of the frame to 3/8” as indicated by arrows.
  • Deburr holes and remove all rust/dirt that is on the mounting surfaces of the frame.
  • Bolt on the T.C.I. pedal assembly using the 3 bolts supplied, bolt on the master cylinder and booster combination, and install pedal strap. Adjust the pedal height off the floorboard to allow ½” off freeplay on the pedal pads. New master cylinder access hole must be cut in the floorboard approximately 12” to the rear of the original hole, check your location before cutting.
